My Approach

I am a dietitian with a passion for helping people heal their relationship with food and enabling them to move forward with total mind & body wellness. Through counseling & education, I strive to clear distortions and show clients that food doesn’t have to be the enemy – in fact, all foods can be consumed and enjoyed as part of a healthy lifestyle (yes – even chips and ice cream!). As barriers are overcome, I work with clients to develop an approach that works for them. Imagine a world where you can eat what you want, exercise because you enjoy it, and maintain a healthy weight without punishing your body. When we stop dieting and learn to trust our bodies, we move towards embracing our natural state of health.

About Your Dietitian

AllieI am a Registered Dietitian & received my degree from Texas Christian University in 2012 after completing TCU’s Coordinated Program in Dietetics.  In addition to my degree, I am a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) and have pursued additional training in eating disorders, Intuitive Eating, hormonal disorders, digestive health, behavior change, and functional nutrition and will receive my CEDRD at the end of 2018. After recovering from nearly a decade of my own disordered eating, I began treating eating disorders in 2014 and love supporting others in healing themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. True health is not measured in numbers but in quality of life.
